MineNCoin hosts and delivers the Northstar Digital Literacy Training and Assessment Program in Ghana.
The Northstar Digital Literacy Program defines basic skills and assessments needed to perform tasks at the workplace on computers and online. The Program provides training and assessments in three main areas of computer digital literacy.
Prior to the commencement of the Northstar digital literacy training, Learners are assessed for their strengths and weaknesses in specific digital literacy assessment domains i.e. Essential Computer Skills, Essential Software Skills, and using technology in daily life.
Having understood the strengths and weaknesses of Learners, the training makes a conscious effort to target and improve Learner’s weaknesses as well as optimize their overall digital literacy skills.
Proctored post-training assessments are administered to Learners to gauge Learners’ mastery of the digital literacy skills taught in the Northstar digital literacy training.
Learners who score 85% + in post -training assessments are issued a Northstar Digital Literacy Badge and Certificate.
